232 and 251 wheels

I just got done testing the Sdkfz 251 and the Sdkfz 232 on the training server.

Shooting the wheels on the 251 with approximately 15 LMG bullets causes the wheel AND the tracks of the affected side to fly off (immobilization).

Likewise, shooting ONE wheel on the 232, causes 3 wheels to pop off eventually (5 or 6 ATR rounds)...

Kind of ridiculous IMHO to have a half-track immobilized by 15 lmg rounds and to get the 3 for 1 deal on the 232 wheels.

Pretty sure these are tied together as losing one would be immobilizing IRL but in the game sometimes people can drive around with three wheels for a long time due to the way the point colliders are set up.

Could you test the 232 wheels versus panhard wheels.

On live server a pan destroy some of my wheels around 700m I fire against his wheels too and I saw a hit but my 20mm did not explode his wheels was using AP.

Could you check if its true? The range was between 500-800m

do you remember teh forever spinning 232s?

i do......

this was a fix to prevent that iirc.

the 232's would spinon forever and the panhard could keep driving forever withour problems with 3 wheels.

shoot 1 off and all wheels on that side will fall off.

they are different because they have to serve different functionality in the game engine that precludes them being the same, even though it would be groovier if they could be the same

they just cannot at this time, the differance is deliberate
