I just spent a lot of time on the training server sapping mattys, I have suspected for a while now something wasn't right, so I took it to the training server and have been sapping mattys over and over again. Im getting credit for the kill, and a lot of smoke, engine is dead and cant move, but both main gun and mg are still fully operable. upon despawning the matty it explodes, but until I do can just keep on shooting to my hearts content. I know where to sap them but if anyone can show me a better way, I'm all ears. Little use to kill the driver if the gunner can just sit there and keep killing stuff. Every single tank in both Axis and Allied spawn list can be destroyed with one properly placed charge, except the matty. If tank is dead, and explodes on despawn, why can it keep shooting? I have lined them up in a row and sapped them over and over, same thing every time, multiple charges in the sap area, over and over, same thing driver dies, gunner lives. Whats up?

Every tank thats KIA by any reason explodes on despawn. This is done, I believe, to give you a visual representation of the fact that it WAS a kill. Has nothing to do with the actual damage to the tank.

Never mind, sitting here with egg all over my face, I was placing the satchel too high and a little too far back, has to be spot on according to Parasits guide, but once you get it just right, Im getting complete kill, sorry :/

No egg on the face there sir. Egg on the face would be ranting and raving about how it's unkillable and CRS are idiots and can't model a sheep right!

well infantry that sprint around the battlefield carrying over 200lbs of equipment blowing up 4 tanks is a dumb concept and should be modified in the game anyhow, something else can be done to achieve the paticular balance that the sapper role plays. It just kills the simulation feel.

Against the matty, in tier 0? I will take anything short of cheating that the game will allow.

I would love to see the axis get a better tier 0 armored vehicle. Axis most def need one to better contend with matty as 88s and stukas are great weapons, for most they are too hard to use, or require more than one player to feasibly deploy the weapon that a player will get a satisfying game expierence, without wasting half your day away. The solution needs to be something that adds to the simulation feel of the game, not something virtually impossible (current role of sapper).

oh jesus... i love it... get rid of the 2c or lower the number of stukas or 88s and get this thing in the game..it would have to balanced to some avail, but this would give a good counter balance to the Pan and Dac as well. We all know the panhard is the baddest tank in the whole game :)
