I brought this up in a previous thread, and .reported it and got no imput. only reason I bring it up is some of us will police ourselves and play by the rules and some of us will not, so we need some clarification on the rules. I figure a picture is worth a thousand words, so here are some pics on how to bring down inf spawn w/4 charges. If some are doing it then all should know how or it needs to be fixed if not according to game rules

Probably best to remove that link, this was posted some time back, but as far as I know still applies, especially to the first part of the method you posted -

Specifically: If you manipulate your avatar so as to penetrate through, into, past or around obstacles that are clearly designed to prevent your passage, then you are "clipping". Most instances of clipping are considered exploits.

it's not impenetrable. there is a spot your avatar just steps up onto the sandbads. there is no manipulation. you just walk up on it.

i have a video, but i dont think i should let the masses see it.

one more of those black drums would fix the issue.

It's supposed to be though, it's exploiting a bug and if any one see anyone doing it they should .report.

Sad that anyone even has to ask to be honest.

One of the reasons I posted that link is if it is ok to do it then everyone needs to know how to do it, otherwise the players who police themselves, and think they would be exploiting if they do it, are at a disadvantage. If it is not ok to do it, as indicated here , {Specifically: If you manipulate your avatar so as to penetrate through, into, past or around obstacles that are clearly designed to prevent your passage, then you are "clipping". Most instances of clipping are considered exploits.}, then that needs to be made clear, because some players are operating under the Assumption, as I was told by the player I saw doing it that " its not clipping if you run in" that it is ok. You can simply run in at the point indicated in the pics, but the obstacles placed there {sandbags, barrels, and crates, are clearly placed there to keep you from doing that, add to that you get the message telling you to leave. After seeing the player do it jump on top of the middle tent to place the charges, I decided to go on the training server and test it. When you jump on top of the tents, the warning goes away, giving you the ability to sapp the top of the poles from the outside of the tent. The other reason I posted the link is after posting a thread days before this one asking for clarification on the rules, I got no response. Having read the snipet you posted of the rules, it can only be understood that any action you take inside those sandbags and barrels, unless the spawn is down enough for you to walk in and not get the warning, is considered exploiting.

When I saw it being done, I did a .report, but I have yet to get any action from doing that, though I have done many dot reports on other issues, So I thought a few pics might do the trick.

If this is true this is a serious exploit , I want 4 satchels and 8 on Inf(period) and paras are not a mean to justify the reduction of this number. Sometimes FB defense helps more balance the game than the entire spawn delay system.

The sandbags and oil drums are there for a reason, you are not supposed to be able to enter the spawn. If you do this in ANY way regardless if it is a miss in modeling or a bug you are cheating and run the risk of getting banned from the game.

Please keep the reports of cheats by using email and not the forums.

8. Do not post threads about cheats, hacks or exploits. Do not post on this subject even if it is complaints, accusations, observations or commentary. In addition, do not post links to any site that contains either content of, or other links to, cheats, hacks or exploits.

If you want to report what you feel is a cheat, hack or exploit, email the report with as much evidence as possible to gophur@playnet.com.

Send me the video. I can't find the spot and I've looked.

Regardless, if you find yourself inside an enemy INF FB then you know you are clipping. If you don't know hopefully a GM will point this out to you so you can avoid it in the future.

That's the royal you.

Be happy to request a fix.
