Tier 1 ATG problem

Once again, hosed a Pak 38 with 4-5 AP rounds, both sides, right in front of the gunner and agunner, got the kill, but the PAK deployed, and then shoots and kills the Matty first shot. Im not mad the pak killed the matty, im upset that there is something not right here. unkillable atgs, and bofors...maybe there is a chance im not doing something right... open to suggestions

Sounds like you go a commander kill but didn;t disable the weapon. Really tough to say without looking at logs. I'll take a look at the critical components on that thing. The damage model just isnt that complicated but using AP is probably not effective on it. Just go right through.

Or a commander injure or a gunner injure - this bug is still unaddressed.

This happens everyday... hit this thing 2 times on each side, from 20m away, and he deploys and kills me, i get the kill, but something is very frustrating to put a couple rounds into something, and it just kills u... i almost always shoot them while they are walking, hit them once or twice, then they deploy, then i hit the gunner, chest level in the front of the gun armor, but he shoots me and blows me sky high....

Classic crew member injury = critical damage bug. It's odd that that a bug that is so easily replicable is so diffifcult to track down.

Gophur, thanks for looking into it. What i appreciate the most from the game is the simulation concept. Seeing two guys not even being affected by a round hitting thier gun is ruining the concept. I try to think that if i were behind the sheild, and if a round landed anywhere on the gun, or around the gun with HE, it would almost certainly leave both those two crewmen unable to perform thier assigned duties on the gun

Give me a replicateion method. You'd be amazed how fast I can fix a bug if I can replicate it.

Shoot and injure crew-member = critcal damage

This was noted and confirmed by Doc in 2008: http://forums.battlegroundeurope.com/showthread.php?t=210859

One gets a tired of nagging after a while, probably why you haven't seen anything about in a while.

There's no bug there.

Shoot a crew member, get a kill. Getting a kill is not the same as the target dying.

If you'd like to have it so that either crew getting shot causes the other to die then suggest that. If you'd like it so that shooting a crewman disables the whole weapon then suggest that.

My problem is I have a lot to test and this is too vague for me to spend much time on.

I really have zero interest in what DOC or I said 3 years ago.

The bug being reported is as far as I can tell in the 15 seconds I have to look at this is:

1) shoot commander

2) gun turns and fires at me

No bug.

Or better yet:

1) spawn pak

2) hose it with matty AP

3) didn't die

I dunno. Unable to replicate? Don't use AP hitting the ground to try and kill this weapon?

I go on beta it takes me about 5 seconds to kill anyone of these ATG so I need a better report and reports from the field aren't cutting it.

i literally just put 12 pan rounds into the gunner of a pak38, both high, low, medium... scored a kill on bloodhuns pak, only ever hit the gunner, but he kept shooting and finally killed me.......what is not a bug about this... this is intentional?? if so, damage model needs to be increased with more area on pak..... so unrealistic... if you thank about it, a 25mm shell hitting anywhere on the gun itself will leave the gun at least disabled, if not both crew wounded or dead..... there has been so many complaints on this..... please give us a realistic and honest answer.... it kills any simulation feel the game provides
