HAAC after bdes booted...

It surprises me that HAAC's can be thrown up after bdes are booted and the team who does it automatically get's full supply at their spawnable CP. This needs to be fixed, it is horrible that a hold can be thrown up and a town is uncappable because we have to wipe a division out at one CP. Axis have done this many a times, and just did it at MG. Yes it is intermission, but it happens all the time in campaigns. Fix this please.

They don't get full supply, just full infantry (plus some guns) supply. No tanks and what not (and no 88s either).

The problem is that, while one depot remains, the standing brigade has not been removed from the town. If the AB and other depots are captured, all that has occurred is to stop the brigade spawning from those facilities. It is still hosted in that town (sort of).

Once upon a time ... because of other rules in effect ... we always made sure all depots were capped before the AB. No one suggested kicking a team before the (final) AB was captured.

HAAC itself probably requires a penalty for unsuccessful use ... probably ... but I hope the penalty isn't too heavy given the limited nature of the HAAC perk.

I thought HAAC had to be in place before the flag was moved/booted out and it couldn't be placed after? Did this change in the last year or so?

It seems so and its a bug. It stays up after flags gets booted.

I wish our attack spawnables had these unlimited supplies. There is no penalty, should be, and its a little gamey to sauce it everytime a single cp gets capped by the enemy.

as long as it is issued prior to the flag being bounced it will take.

Is this the methodology:

  • defenders issue HAAC
  • depots have unlimited spawning
  • defending brigades are bounced when control is lost (all mil facs)
  • defending brigade falls back from oldTown to newTown
  • defending briagde still holds the oldTown-newTown Depot
  • thus defending brigade can still spawn there
  • since HAAC was in effect when they got kicked they can still HAAC spawn at that linked depot

Correct?

I think HAAC is way over used and with very little consequence. I would change it simply to, use HAAC as normal, but if you lose AB while HAAC all flags go to training for 6 hours.

This makes sense as it puts some risk to using HAAC, also, I believe generally speaking, if you HAAC, and you don't hold, there should be very little left of your unit, so you shouldn't be able to use it for a few hours.
