German Grenadier

It appears that the German grenadier dishes out more damage than it takes. What I mean by that is that if a german RG lands 1-2M from an EI, it will kill him, but if it lands 1-2m from the shooter, it will only (slightly) damage him.

I played with several impact angles (EI infront, behind, left, right of the impact of the RG, and when exposed to the exact same thing as the German grenadier, the allied inf dies...

I placed the DE RG at the same place as the brit infantry (notice he's already hurt from shooting multiple RG's at his feet).

After firing 1 RG, the british infantry dies, but the german RG was only very slightly wounded.

Ya, its always been hit and miss with the HE explosion and the tracking of shrapnels it seems.

Sometimes as German Grenadier I shoot at my feet to kill EI in close combat (say in a CP) and it will most of the time kill him but often its a mixed bag for what happens to me, some of the time no damage, most of the time some damage ranging from light to real bad and some other times it kills me...

Thru usage (its my favorite unit to play) I have found a few instinctive tricks that seem to result in a good ending for me mostly... But programming wise I dunno whats what and what should be done that what... What? :P

For what that does...
