And this differs from sappers before how, exactly?

Look, tanks have always needed infantry cover, waaaay before bazookas and their kin. The only thing that will change is player's awareness of this fact.

And, of course, tanks trying to camp ABs will get blown away buy the guys shooting through windows from their own infantry spawns.

Does bazooka man look different than the regular inf (rifle) in 3rd person?

What loadout does bazooka man have? Does he have rifle/pistol/smg?

If bazooka man looks different, in 3rd person, than regular inf ... The sapper did not, unless one ran around with one's satchel hanging out ... then bazooka man will be one big inf target for everyone else

If bazooka man looks same - has rifle in loadout, for example - and so appears normal, then bazooka man won't be such a big target ...

It'll be as simply as that ... Oh ... and who spawned all the bazooka men and why are there now none in supply!!11!?one (and so forth)

Sappers can't throw their satchel a 100m. Basicly INF cover can't hear them coming nor often see them. A tank now not needs 1 INF to guard it.. it needs the proper 4 :))

Imagine the mess coming up in campaign hehehe.

If its a bazooka or shreck they shouldn't be firing from inside an enclosed space without killing themselves and anyone in the room. The PIAT though is another matter. :)

Hopefully they were to be modeled with only about two rounds, team members would have to accompany to resupply. Plus they should not be an instant "click-I wish you were dead -I win because I tagged you" weapon. Khsolo I hope is just well knowledged and skillful :) IRL there was many variables that I'm sure the Rats are trying to emulate.

On beta they have 5 rounds (or 5 reloads I forget), they have only pistol as backup (no nades from what I remember) and they do look different (big long tube).

Well, currently there is no penalty for firing with an obstruction behind you.... very little blast damage from the round too.

will be about the same with tanks having to work in open areas. The towns however is a completely different affair. Tanks will no longer be able to sit in the streets covering each other. The rocket weapons can kill from cover.

Why do they even need to model the PIAT, Brit RG does everything that a PIAT does and has more ammo

no it dont, Balance!!! lol however i wouldnt get too worried the shreck doesnt hit very hard, you gotta have some perfect aim with a reticle thats useless for aiming and a smoke explosion thats impossible to tell where you hit.

on top of that the 200+ penetration means squat if you dont hit the magic pixie points on tanks.

LOl a shreck or bazooka penetrating a tank should kill half the crew at least regardless of where it hits.

Factually incorrect.

That could happen in a circumstance where propellant was not ignited, but by no means was the norm.

so then you are saying that a bazooka/shreck had no effect on a tank crew or the insides unless it hit very specific areas?

a round blowing into a crew compartment only hurt the crew if it was in line with his head? aka just like an ATR?

and you want me to belive that right?

if im not mistaken rpats produced hot gasses and spall that is very damaging and lethal several feet past the armor after penetration. It should not be a straight line like a bullet right?

Not even close to true.
