the allied players simply cant grasp the idea, they ignore chat from people trying to test, they grab tanks and camp FRUs its completly retarded.

there needs to be a GM or something controlling this.

what i did find however, is that during my time testing the shreck, not a single player had been able to brew a tank with it. kill crew members? sure but not a single brew.

Also, i know that the weapons really didnt have adjustable sights, but how bout a adjustment in 50 meters from 0-200. obviously they can be shot farther, but its really wierd having to shoot the weapon aiming well above the reticle. the reticle is basically set for like 150 meters from what i can tell.

That's not the kind of testing they are doing. It's to see how the new game is going to go with people fighting and killing. It's not about testing each weapon at this point, although they will take input on any bugs found there.

actually it IS that kind of testing, read the testing readme. and camping frus does NOTHING towards anything.

i have no problems with them having a good fight( what better way to check the netcode yeah?) but spawning a tank and parking it 15 meters from the FRU? seriously? the dude died like 3 times just trying to get to the fru to camp it.

its sad really.

As per gophur

Please use this thread to give feedback on your testing. If you have specific bugs please post a thread about them. Some of the topics we's like to discuss are:

Infantry Combat

Thew new host has made a huge difference to us in beta but that's small testing. How does it feel with a few more of you? How's the mouse feel? It'll be the same if you've adjusted it before.

RPATS

How do they feel. Overpowered? Underpowered? They're pretty spot on with the data. Tell us how combat felt though.

New Weapons

What about the other weapons how do they feel. Are there any animation issues? Sure there's always going to be some clipping, I mean big stuff. Oh yeah, the US Bazooka guy is not available offline and online he's missing his pistol and knife, these will be fixed in the next patch. *shrug* How 'bout that G43 eh?

Sounds

We made a bunch of fixes here. I'm not sure how many of them you can test in this event but if something has been nagging you see if you can replicate it. If you hear something new, better or worse, be sure to let us know.

Host Issues

CTHLs. MrPs. Firebugs. Padlocks. These and many more bugs are claimed squashed because we now have a persistent map mission connection. If this were a real campaign you'd notice your in-game map updating all on it's own. No clicking. PROGRESS! Still, keep your eye on this a lot. Stressing this is actually why we're here today. Oh and just in case a whole lot of you turn up, no worries. Server capacity increased 300%. Honest!

Subjective comment:

FYI I was in a church tower (think Matt6767 was there) and I put a Schreck into the engine deck of a Sherman and it went BANG.

Had tried from side with other rounds, but got success from elevated posnition.

hit the flat part of the upper hull about 1/3 from the rear. I brewed multiple shermans last night, several on the move.

Trust me, it ain't an allied only thing there dude. I tried to work with the new infantry yesterday afternoon and the spawn points at the AB were pretty much camped by AXIS.

thats funny cause i just got off the beta again, and greni set uyp a hold the church scenario and the first thing the allied side did after being told not to camp, was camp our FRU over and over again till we had to do the same thing.

at which point they started crying about it LOL.

Lmao yeah axis weren't doing any camping. My first sortie on beta yesterday, I died to panzer fire before even taking a step away from the FRU.

When I spawn in as axis, I'm a really nice guy. Pleasant, gallant. I always let the enemy see that I'm there before I shoot. I am also skillful and

I always play smart and with other players as a team.

When I spawn in as allied, I immediately spawn the baddest armour there is in the spawnlist. I usually drive it straight into a river, because I didn't learn how to tank, but I don't care. I just point the gun and shoot and everything blows up! When I play infantry, I don't use any tactics, I just go to camp the enemy FRU right away! I beat up my wife every 10 minutes, fart constantly, from my regular 6 feet 3 inches and 175 pounds I turn into 5 feet 2 and 250 pounds.

You can make it to the river? That's pretty good. I just sit at the FB waiting to get airquaked while typing out on chat "Can someone tell me how to drive the Tiger with a mouse?"

I only spawn in in river towns, like remagen or givet. Other towns are too hard. It's called balance.
