spontaneous standup

I can only remember this happening during a patch maybe a year ago, but lately on several occasions, my toon has spontaneously gone from prone to standing for no apparent reason. Started happening maybe two weeks ago and I don't appear to have any controller/keyboard issues, so I assume that something is jacked up otherwise. I can't really say what leads to this since it is not constant, but it is damned inconvenient.

Can you tell me how to replicate it next time it happens please?

We went through this about 12 months ago. In the end it was to do with a tiny patch of terrain (Delems is correct, on the very tip of a berm). We gave up in the end ...

(don't make me hunt for the topic! ;))

Ok, went and tested this, got it to do it a few times, but couldn't make it repeat, until...... I figured it out!

Create IFP, get inside, lay down. Then pick a direction that you want to crawl out, that includes going over the IFP. Crawl out, but, do not take your finger off the 'w' key as you crawl out. You will automatically stand up or kneel as you get to the other side of the IFP. Didn't test with berms, but my guess of course would be it is something similar.

Funny side effect that has to do with another post I think, if you crawl out by repeated presses of the 'w' key (press, pause, press, pause), you usually will avoid standing up as you crawl over, but when you get out, you can't stand up for a while! You're stuck lying down.

BAM. Ticketed.

It's not limited to PPO's, crawling around/next to/ on top of hedgehogs or logs also will result in spontaneous standup.
