ripped a LAFFY apart with MG and 20mm HE rounds.

he stopped because he had no wheels left. his engine was smoking white

30 secs later he puts up a FRU

why can trucks still place FRUs when they received criticals ?

I shot up an opel couple of days ago and it went on driving into town....I don't know if it got to set up a fru but when I despawned I'd been awarded a kill on it.

I would prefer to watch a target like this despawn a la alt f4 and not get a kill..at least I'd know its out of harms way.

I'd feel the same if I played axis btw;)

Difference between kill-credit and destroyed.

It's also why tankers moan when they can't RTB after their main gun is destroyed, but everything else is working.

If I remember right, you get a kill-credit on a truck if you blow the engine or shoot 2+ of the wheels ...

... Is it destroyed if you kill the driver? I can't remember ...

(yesterday, I stood a few metres from a downed, smoking and wrecked plane ... Was there for ages before the pilot despawned - I assume he despawned, anyway)

It just looked like you hit him but I am sure you didnt hit the critcal parts of the unit. Kinda like when I shot you in the face 3 times tonight and you and your ezLMG just kept shooting. Oh, it was u.

Or that uber sweet time I shot you with a full clip as you came around the stable doorway since I could hear your running footsteps and somehow you take the full clip from ankles, nuts, and head and SURVIVE and I die.

Yeah, I am sure I didn't hit your criticals either....

How do you run lay like a dolphin btw?

could have posted also a pic with no-wheel-LAFFY and smoking... but i didnt find that screenie. that was my newest what i found

dont blame me for the lag we have here ingame. happened to me a lot of times too that i die.. and in deathcam the guy comes around corner and starts to shoot. thats a common problem specially since 1.33

if his driver is still alive, he can do this

kill his driver, he cannot

so a truck with heavy smoke ... no wheels ... but no damage to the driver can always place a FRU ??

Wait what? That's not right. Your RTB code has ZERO to do with if someone got a kill on you.

(I'm not a tanker)

But seen this a couple of times in posts (not in Bugs) ... typically, can't find them now.

What I have seen posted, to make sure I'm being clear, is:

If someone has a kill on you (whatever unit type you are) even if you get back to despawn range you won't get your unit back in supply until the ticket is fulfilled (3.5 hours).

I did think this was the case, am I wrong?
