I just notice that I can ride now fairmiles by pressing J but this will sit me on the border of the ship.

Is it possible that repressing j will set me inside/over the ship and not on the water. I say this because we are too exposed and usually a ship ride takes some time, dieing after half an hour without even getting to shore is frustrating.

So press J ride boat press again you leave sitting position and are place inside the ship and so on.. to leave the ship you would just have to jump on the water :)

Best Regards

Fxm

you can enter the deck of the ship and walk around.

Basically the FMB has to be 'front on'(Bow)to the shore connecting this enables you to basically walk onto the FMB and move around from there.

Then when you need to get off can walk off again if bow is touching land or just walk off and swim.

There were "nets" on one boardside of the fairmiles, where you could crawl on the ship, but this features was bugged years ago.

DOC announced to fix the bug...years ago...but didnt deliver... :P

Oh really didn't know that, It would be great to have that, battlefield 1942 has does nets really helps if you fall on the water or land near a boat.

I been trying to get that fixed FOREVER. Don't blame DOC. There's just not enough art resources to go round. I'll bump that ticket though.

The original bug on this stuck the players' avatars to the side of the ship in the jesus crucifixion position... Ahhhh. Good times. Good times.
