This isn't really a game bug, but I wasn't sure where to put it.

I'd like to see a limit on the length of forum signatures. While the vast majority of signatures on this forum don't bother me, some are extremely long.

Here's one example:

http://forums.battlegroundeurope.com/member.php?u=951089

It makes the forums far less usable when someone's signature takes up 80%+ of my screen real estate.

There is a limit:

24. Signature images should not exceed a file size of 250KB and dimensions not in excess of 640 pixels wide and 380 pixels high. Multiple images in a signature, when taken as a whole, may not exceed the limit set for a single image above. The entire signature, text included, may not exceed 440 pixels in height.

Sometimes the mods don't see them. You can report posts/threads/signatures that violate the TOS and the moderators will investigate.

640x380? Wow, that's huge:

Perhaps it's worth discussing internally if much is gained from allowing signature images of that size?

Theres a catch22. HC officers are required by rules to post the sig for their position in their signature, and additionally some people have the little medal box sigs that show off all their fancy bling.

You manage to fill those requirements in an image that is 26% of the size of the maximum allowed. If you can do it, I think most can...

EDIT: I don't care about the width, it's all the crazy scrolling. Maybe I just should turn of signatures again, but some of them make me laugh...

Because I don't have the award's bar. I don't have a squad sig. I don't have anything besides the bare minimum because my sig doesn't matter that much, what I want to matter is what I type.

Tigger, somewhere deep in the Das Heer guidelines or in one of the basic OKW guidelines its a requirement.

That is what I did.

Than that is probably the natural height of the picture. Go to photobucket or somewhere, enlarge it, and use the code they give ya.
