Lowering weapon no longer lowers it in third person.

Pressing L used to lower peoples weapons in third person.

It no longer does, but rather the lowered stance seems to entirely depend on whether or not someone has fired nearby in some unknown amount of time.

So we end up all standing around looking constipated, even during ceremonies and stuff as shown above; not very good for videos.

I was able to get a picture of this guy standing upright after waiting a few minutes (we were guarding the FB).

It would be excellent if the stance could be connected to the lower weapon button as it used to be, it not only adds a nice little flavor to the game, but makes filming have more possibilities and makes ceremony stuff not look like a meeting for the spastic colon brigade.

This bug has actually been around since I started playing on my old account, I think either 1.12 or 1.13. The first person and third person views of where the gun is aiming don't match, this is especially bad with the pistols when not aiming but the gun is not lowered, the first person view shows the pistol in front of you but other people see the gun lowered at your side. Same with all the other guns. Like I said I believe the last patch this was correct in was 1.11 and I think they changed it because it didn't look right with the gun raised in front while running.

Third person trroopers go into combat stance when a round has been fired nearby.

There is no lowered weapon in combat stance.

When standing you should see lowered weapons in third person.
