The map options are saved when yo9u exit the game. However if you exit the game with the map up and recent changes then they are not saved.

  • select persona
  • switch to map
  • make a change inoptions
  • exit game with map up
  • relaunch game
  • select persona
  • switch to map
  • see changes not saved

Is this what you are seeing?

in the wwiiol.xml file, the line

Reported fixed. Can you guys double check your individual changes?

it did save mine, but after installing the new version i went in and deleted the wwiiol.xml then ran the settings.exe and it created a new one. once i logged in made all the changes and logged out then back in, it worked fine...

Reddog said that he just installed the new version without deleting the old .xml file and it did not save correctly...

so it seems like the new versions of the game wants to start from scratch. this kinda seemed true for 1.33 also, i installed a fresh copy on a fresh hard drive and upon my first login when i set all the preferences i also changed the map icons i wanted off and it saved them just fine.
