Wehrmacht Basic Infantry Weapons: Dispersion Patterns

Seriously, fix these.

Outside of the K-98 (which seems fine), the Luger... the MP-40... the MG-34... all have inaccurate (and ahistorical) dispersion patterns.

In Bouillon earlier, I had an EI standing still at <15m's away from me. I fired a single round each time only to watch it miss (land in the dirt in front of him... to the side of him... around him...) yet it wasn't until my 8th and final round in the clip that a round struck and killed the EI. This situation occurs over and over and over again where a Luger will not hit an EI with regularity at <15ms.

This is pathetic coding (to put it politely).

Furthermore, the MP-40 and MG-34 had their dispersion rates nerfed and now they deserve an audit as well. The MG-34 cannot land rounds at 700m's accurately let alone out to 1200m's which is its maximum effective range. The MP-40 is nearly a piece of junk as it stands now with its haphazard dispersion pattern coding (which is noticeably worse than its Allied SMG counterparts I might add).

Wish they could allow the MG 34 to fire on single fire mode but since the bar isn't getting any slow firing mode I doubt it.

The MG 34 equals the MG 42 on WW2OL but when the colt when arrives on the campaign it will equal the luger X2 you can't hit anything at plus 10m XD.

On the subject of the SMG they could set all dispersion models equal to the UK Thompson and thus ending all this rage it would be equal to everyone and skill would be the only factor.

I suspect you are confusing said dispersion patterns with the tripod or vehicle mounted mg34 rather than the infantry bipod version.

Any Bipod fired LMG is going to have fairly dubious accuracy at longer ranges.

Wrong kamel.

I fired SAWs and M60's while in the military from bi-pod and I had good marksmanship up to nearly their max effective range. I guarentee you an MG-34 on bi-pod is gonna be decently accurate at 700m's but NOT in this game.

Doesn't matter. Exit Stage Left.

Yeah, there's *lots* of very bad problems here.

Aiming algorithm is just awful.

Dispersion algorithm is just awful.

And prone? I swear, not a *single* person at CRS has *ever* fired a rifle while prone. Never.

And there is absolutely no excuse, for a group of first-person-shooter game programmers/developers, in the United States, in *Texas* ffs, to have never fired a rifle while prone.

No excuse at all.

Would some of you players near the CRS HQ please do us all a favor and take the CRS crew out one day and let them fire a rifle while prone?

Because they really need to experience that, so they can put it in the game.

Ya know, at first Romsburg, you rubbed me the wrong way and I wasn't a fan. But over the past 12 months, you have really grown on me. You're precise, well spoken and although you are sometimes a little harsh, you are most often correct and in proper context with your responses.

If you're going to argue with Romz, do your homework before you post. He gets it, and you can't teach common sense, you have to be born with it.

I can't say [any]thing else [than] that the ban was justified considering that you have an 'impressive' TOS history....
