1.34.0.39 LOD bugs (Firebug and underfeet muzzle flash)

Under feet Muzzle flash

This seems to happen to quite a number of weapons at least the colt also had this on 1.34.0.37.

(this on the same sortie has the previous bug)

The player with the bar continued approaching my tank and never stopped shooting having just 20 rounds he should had stopped shooting to reload, I killed him and there was still audio of him shooting.

Question

Are New weapons lods and pistols planned to be release with 1.34 live?

(I see that tommy has lod but not the rest of the weapons since the first offline 1.34 client)

3- I'm using lowest settings but that has nothing to do with it I think, since older weapons have LODs like the 98k, the tommy, mg 34 at the same distance..... but all new weapons don't have it unless the LODs distance has been hugely increase that its impossible to note any change on the new weapons models but kept the inf lod model to change at the normal lower distance.

(sorry for low quality but yes they haven't noticeable LODs like the older weapons)

4- The US First LOD that eliminates the backpack is too noticeable, compared to the British inf the backpack does not disappear at such near distance. Would prefer if the canteen would be the only one disappearing instead.

(The worse is the instant pop up of the backpack which is quite large and very noticeable)

*Lods are meant to alleviate hardware at long distances while still avoiding conflicting with the graphic experience of the user. I know that you guys know :X

5- All US INF have backpack unless the US SMG intentional ?

6- US Bar rifle no canteen intentional ?

Dunno about the kits. Bloo would have to answer there. Probably intentional.

THe LODs are probably different for the new weapons. I'll ask.

Kits are different for each infantry "class"/type. At certain LOD ranges, we do NOT draw the kit objects. This is based on tests to try and improve overall performance. Individual kit objects do NOT have LOD model changes.

Older weapons had only 2 LOD model changes if any at all. We are trying to implement 2 model changes for the newer weapons. Some might not have them as of this posting. WIP

This is working as intended (except for maybe the no weapon draw at longer ranges).

It seems weapons and Inf could have more LODs and even 2D or semi 2D at long ranges too bad you guys are a small team and underfunded cuz there is work for 100 workers.

Anyways the Kit Deletion especially the US backpack at the current distance is too near and impacts too much the player in my opinion. (I reckon around 50meters would be better or simply a very low poly with the right color)

Can you retest with .46 please?

The bar still doesn't appear at the same distance as on the picture its still invisible, I can still see the muzzle underfeet flash at the same distance.

But it stops the moment the bar appears.

I try to replicated the same conditions and no firebug was trigger.

About the LODs for new weapons are still not ingame.(think you didn't mean to reply about this)

If it is too near you can increase your INF LOD range. Be good to try a test with 50 - 100 inf in view on low lod range and high lod range.

You can go offline and drop a firing clone with the space bar.

LoL Thanks for reminding me totally forgot anyways Muzzle and No weapons still are on .46:

In Settings = "performance" very noticeable

Due to low LOD setting

With 80% of LOD

- I see weapons and correct muzzle flash at around 500m but after that, same deal.

I forgot I had set the game to performance settings so the US Backpack is turn off too soon, So I Increased the LOD it does improve its look but with performance settings I can still see the British Backpack when the US already lost theirs.
