Numerous bugs

Downloaded 1.34 and from the get go it wasnt looking good. Walked away while it was downloading and when I came back about an hour later there was a message about a file being corrupted. So I shut the game down and reopeded it thinking it migh just redownload the patch thinking the patch failed. Reloaded the game and entered my PW and it started installing like the patch went through. Though ok well must be just a little bug. Game started up and I went and picked an american semi auto rifleman. Entered the game and for a split second I saw my guy holding his rifle but no color rendered for the rifle. Then the game crashed directly to desktop. Tried loading up several times and the same thing would happen no matter what I tried to load. So I went to the offline mode to see what the americans looked like at least. Everything loaded up pretty smoothly but as soon as I spawned in I noticed that the weapon I was holding was all white like in game. Everything seemed to work ok so I ran around a little then created some clones. All the clones were pure white. None of the color was rendering. Shading was but no color. Tested out some of the stuff then went to throw a grenade and *boink* crashed to desktop. SO I thought I would come here and let ya guys know whats going on as far as my end goes. Unfortunatly game is pretty much unplayable online. Is this because the corrupted message I got? Are these bugs effecting anybody else in game so far?

nope working fine for me. a couple of bugs but nothing like you have.

What sort of machine are you running it on? Have you tried updating your vid card drivers? Etc.

Perhaps a fresh install of the game might be worth trying. Dont forget to delete your old BGE folders as well.

When I started the download I noticed that the file was only 260 some MB. I thought it was pretty small for such a big update... I am thinking I just need to reinstall the whole game. I am afraid its so fubared now I wont be able to fix it.

Thanks GOPHUR. well so far everything is running pretty smoothly except for the CTD issue. I CTD about every 5-10 min. Maybe longer but its a for sure thing. Kinda frustrating when you have a bazooka and there is a Panzer in your sights and a millisecond before you hit the trigger *blink* you are looking at your desktop.
