I've just put some things into testing. If you're experiencing any of the following issues you can help us test.

  • Joystick Issues
  • Global Calib Issues
  • Blinking Air Icons

To get the test executable installer download and run this:

http://installers.wwiionline.com/1340_a.exe

When you are done testing you can return to the release executable by running this installer:

http://installers.wwiionline.com/1340_release.exe

Please put your comments in this thread if you help with testing.

WARNING!!!

Testing should only be performed if you are comfortable with the unexpected outcomes that could occur. If you are not familiar with the many hazards of testing or are unclear of how to run the installers or you would have trouble reinstalling the game from scratch or if you are afraid that I will erase your hard drive THEN DO NOT TEST!

My issues with global.calib seem to be fixed by this. Setting a deadband on the X/Y no longer results in the full-on full-off bucking on the elevator or wonkiness when rolling.

global.config possibly not fixed.... when I went online to play tonight it cut my Y axis on Joystick one down to half. Will post more if I can reproduce.

edit: restarted couple times, tweaked things each time, cannot reproduce... still calling "solved" for now.

Didn't have any disappearing circles tonight, though it would be worthwhile to set up one of the meatgrinders (Vliss/Knokke Gilze/Eindhoven) just to get people in the air. No fun testing crap out when you've got to fly 10 minutes to town.
