I have experienced this three times today. I get hit, either my pilot or my plane gets plinked. After not even 10s I hit a tree (yes I am still an expert at that) or I slam the deck. However no killer is listed. I believe this should be definitely looked at prior to the start of the minicampaign.

Plink kills are broken atm but I don't recall them ever listing a killer. You weren't technically killed. You crashed.

His officers though awarded him a kill for forcing you out of combat. Kills and deaths are not related on a battlefield.

Oh they did record a killer believe me. We, stat hoes, know about that sort of chit...
