keyboard (throttle & joystick btns) freeze

Hi I don't know if this might be a bug or a feature, but occasionally my prone toggle and crouch toggle buttons will freeze for a few seconds. I didn't check to see if my hard drive was being accessed last time, but I will next time if I remember.

I am not trying to lag dance across a field or anything like that, just popping up and down every few seconds at a window. I kind of freak out when my toon is stuck standing near a window for more than a few seconds.

Thanks man, I will try to make my bug/feature reports better, but I just resubscribed and I am not sure how things work yet. I thought that keyboard thing might be to stop people from lag dancing. Anyway, thank you.

Happens to me to, if i press the same key often in a short time ( 10-15 seconds ) it wont respond anymore, so for example i can't get prone or get up, i can't move my turret left or right anymore that kind of things. I'm used now to it so i've stopped making minor correction with turrets and other gun sights with the keyboard, but it's still annoying with infantry play.

EDIT: Also alt tab seems to resolve it if you are really stuck

That's a special case ug. That is to stop warp griefers. If that's what the OP is saying then yeah that's a feature. It really aught to just slow the animation down or something or give you some feedback. Originally I wanted it to start draining stamina. I think I'll ask ramp for that,

I thought that for the prone thing and i think it's a good idea ( even if i see a lot of constant dolphin dive i'll have to ask how do they do it lol ) but it also happens on keys for turret movement ( WASD for me ) so sometimes i have to do a full 360° rotation to the right only to go left

I was getting this on the last stress beta weekend I would sometimes get stuck on crouching position, Wasn't clicking multiples times like other players do to get an advantage.

Think I reported on beta server.

I just checked this out in the SE depot building in Arras. 5 or 6 repetitions of the crouch toggle (my f key/mapped to joystick button) leads to a freeze on the 6 to 9th repetition. My hard drive was blinking as usual. If that stamina thing has been implemented, it didn't show on my stamina bar. The freeze only lasted for a second or two, and only seemed to affect the v and f key.
