I've got a new client together that may be a candidate for release but I have limited testing in house but it might have some connection help for 20033 errors.

WARNING - BETA SOFTWARE

If you don't know what that means please abort this test. I have erased hard drives before!!!

OK if you're still here what I need you to do is install this exe and test with it and note any increase or decrease of issues. There really isn't much here but it needs some sanity checks.

There's no data with this test but there will be in the relase. I'm testing that in house.

DLed the client and has been running for 30 min now, so far so good but today was a almost error free day ( only 5 20033 which is astonishing compared to previous experience for me ), so fingers crossed.

EDIT: got 1 20033 right now :/

EDIT2: got it a second time.

and 3

Tested it just now, wacked it to Highest Quality.

Epic inf fight at Fixecourt, FPS steady at 20+ which for me is v good given the intensity.

The ping meter showed the same level of fragmentation but I had no crash minimal lag and the only thing of significance was perhaps some slight blinking of inf in and out, but still very minimal.

Great Work.

Nothing like a Saving Private Ryan moment as I turn a corner and face a group of 6+ infantry also turning the same corner to meet my LMG, ha never closed my eyes and hit fire so fast in my life :).

chat server may be offline

-> not good but of course that's the host not the client

I didn't have any client side issues that I could speak of

Getting seldomly this msg ( which i suppose it's what "now attemps to reconnect to the host" is about ) that show up when i try to spawn, but at that point it prevent me from spawning, the more i click enter the world the more SYSTEM spam i get at that point i just relog as if it was Cellhost 126 not connected.

EDIT: on the other fixes in this test:

I'm not having MIA anymore, so i guess that's working now

Still crashing sometimes when i change brigade and try to spawn.

I think that's the reconnection code fix trying to get through to the host. That's the heart of the 20033 error we're trying to nail down.

Thanks for the reports guys.

I'm getting 1.34.4 as an auto-update when a start the game, and I can't cancel out of it. It is crashing as the client starts. Is there a way to prevent it from applying this patch?

I'm getting the same problem. I'm crashing on the initial screen before the loading bar appears.
