Naval Bug List - Rat Comment Please

From what I can see, there are more than a few long standing Naval bugs that have not yet been addressed.

Can we get some idea of the fix status?

Here is the short list, please feel free to add anything I missed:

DD Engine sound bug (at some point it changed to use FMB start sound)

Roll indicator stuck showing full list to port

DD Gun range settings change when range change is made on a different gun

FMB Cargo net unable to help infantry loading

I had heard a rumor that all AA would be slaved to a single FC position... is this true? If so, when?

What is the current vis limit for ship vs ship?

No naval love for USA?!

So...

Yes there are several naval bugs. Long standing. Truth is most of them are art and I don;t have the resources to work on vehicles like I'd like and they don't get priority. I deal in truths and that's it. I agree it sucks.

- No idea on the sound bug. Why it has a start sound is beyond me anyway. Hasn't changed since July 2010 and that's as far back as I can look without spending some time on it. Tell me what you want here and I'll see what I can do.

- Roll indicator ticketed.

- Range setting ticketed but probably never fixed until replaced. The guy who built it died in a train wreck and it is so crazy no other artist can touch it.

- Cargo net. Don;t get me started on this one. I've pleaded and begged to get this fixed.

- Yeah when we get the new command style control schemes in place in the future you'll be able to drive the ship and fire primary and secondary weapons all from a single position. Yes it will be awesome.

- Ships, 6km.

- No US Navy. If we're re skinning things it'll be more prominent needs. They'll get copies of the other boats at some point though. On the list.

It's been broken that long. Not sure that it needs a sound as both the freighter and the DD are steam turbines.

Also of note is that the compass is backwards on freighters and DDs.

Negative. All ship starts currently use the FMB start sound. Not sure that it would be audible on the bridge. If I can find some steam or boiler sounds, I'll let you know.
