Guarding Points Are Broken

I was just at Amiens guarding one of the factories for about 20 minutes and it was capturable the entire time I was in it. I killed a capper and got credit for both the kill and the cap, but no guarding points.

Seems like last time I was guarding a day or two ago, same thing happened. What's the deal, those points used to accumulate at 1 per minute?

Just despawned from oost when the AO was lifted and saw 6 guarding points for about 12 min in the docks. So, GOPHUR, did you fix whatever was wrong or was this just the result of a host reset earlier? And what happened to 1 point per minute? Thanks

Dunno. Worked for me when I tested it in beta. Maybe a specific case or host fubar. No fix I am aware of. Can you replicate?

Quite a few times this morning there were no guarding points in Rips - sometimes there were. We were in and out frequently as various cps got attacked in small space of time but the usual 2 or 3 minutes and one longer spell often did not turn up!

I think its random, I got 39 points for guarding a CP that was captured twice while I was hiding in the closet AFK LMAO!! I came back from the store, I found out the CP had changed hands twice.

I spent 20 mins in cp and then came out to deal with another cp and then went back for 6 minutes and got 3 points total - cp was available for capture by the enemy in both cases! Throughout this morning it has been random - none, half the usual, normal. Really wierd!

Think it is currently set to 1 minute per point for guarding. Seems to be working fine (beta). Got a method I can test?

Not really because it is just random - ok one time - not ok, same place ten minutes later and same situation, doing same things. Maybe it will just disappear :) Speaking as a programmer I would hope that it did because you can't solve what you can't generate for yourself, even though my clients all think I can!

Yes it is set at 1 point per minute. I'm not the least bothered by the scores, just shows that something is awry somewhere lol.

REPORT ASK REQUESTED

Sittard e cp - 11:00 - 11:15 approx UK time - Sittard was DO

Sittard was cleared of ei and I stayed for about 15 mins - 0 points

No points all morning except for 11 on one occasion.

UK subMG

Hope this helps - if more info needed just let me know exactly what and I'll provide it.

Doesn't really bother me but it's so noticable it needs sorting when possible.

EDIT : other Sittard cps the same -

- doesn't matter if just recapped and then enemy can capture

- position doesn't matter

- AFK doesn't matter

Completely dead atm.

See post above - Sittard - all guard points failed

Rips : tried

- town owned by same and different to cp owner - worked

- area defence - worked

- pt defence - worked

All combinations of everything I could think of worked - it's a pity that Sittard isn't still available or maybe we might have a clue to what is happening!

I set up sittard and turned beta to public. Need to test the new host anyway.

Hopefully no one will go in there and destroy the AO before you can test. If so just post and I'll reset it and test myself. Just a bit busy atm. My bet is random host issue.
