TweakNow Power Pack 2010

It's a freeware tweak proggie that lets you adjust some windows network parameters, among other things. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I haven't had many CTD's on 1.34. Only 1 actually, when I bumped up everything to test an overclock. If I remember correctly, adjusting things with the proggie cleared it up.
