Blue and Yellow

I've not played army for many years until the past few days. The cp bar is blue and yellow and nobody else seems to get this. The bars were not there at all when I used to play army so the colours didn't make any sense. I was accused by a player I will not name of not saving a cp I was in when it was being capped. I asked how I was to know there was an ei in the cp at the time. I was told the red bar made it obvious. When I said I didn't have a red bar - just blue and yellow - I was effectively called a lair.

I can put up with thoughtless idiots but I can't put up with not knowing what the bar is showing. Blue is on the left - yellow is on the right - sometimes I get 'frendlies defending' and it is completely yellow - this totally confused me. Is there a full list of the meanings anywhere? How do I get mine to be red and blue. Why are they blue and yellow anyway on my pc?

I played army for many years when there were no MSs and frus and we used tables for capturing. The advances seem a great improvement - just a pity that I've not been able to find info on all of this.

Thanks Viking - all sorted now. I hunted all over the place for that info. The old manual had everything in one large file, the wiki way is great but if you don't enter the right search word you don't find it lol.

Sorted te colour problem as well. When I came back to BE I was only flying and reset the colours to blue and yellow and forgot about it. When flying there are no blue or yellow HUD bars so I forgot all about it.

Thanks again mate.
