We have to make more changes to the code (and can't do this right now) as the primary weapon only is resupplied. The satchel is a secondary weapon. We're going to make the change, but not sure when we can get that done in "when to expect it" terms. In theory, we're still in the _fix what is broken_ patch phase not the "add new features" patch phase.

couldn't have both I'm afraid, it had to be the new system as it will be or stay with the old

to be honest, we don't think the exaggerated claims that the world will end are that accurate, and think the change will, with time, be good for the game or we wouldn't have made the changes in the first place. There is no denying that "life without the HEAT sapper" is going to be different, and straight up infantrymen taking on tanks is a lot harder as a result. That isn't a bad thing, perhaps the 20+ ATGs that never get used will become more common and tactics will see a better game evolve out of this ?

Please Note (for the record in case you have been listening to side channel rants for too long):

1. The Axis ATR outperforms the Allied ATR at all ranges in pure penetration, by 30->35%

(yes we know that the Matilda is pretty immune from the ATR but all other Allied tanks are easy to kill with an ATR, and Matildas represent less than 5% of all Allied tanks)

The Allies have no 88mm ATG's in tier 0 (or any other tier for that matter) and some level of historical disparity is going to have to be accepted as part of the game because that is what the game is built around. While we do seek fairness it is not based on the ubiguous red vs blue same on both sides style of game design. IT NEVER WILL BE EITHER

2. Allied tanks are not immune to HE Demolition charges to any degree greater than Axis tanks

3. "Axis have no chance in tier 0" is a nerf whine (sorry but it's true) as the number of campaign wins suggests, in almost all Axis wins the campaign went west from day 1 and never turned around. The Axis are currently sitting on 4 wins IN A ROW and did not lose ground in the tier 0 phase of any of those campaigns. Was it difficult ? Well it isn't meant to be easy. It's meant to be a fight EVERY step of the way. Do the Allies have a struggle ? Some might say no but the results say otherwise.

We appreciate that some aspects of the game have changed but change is not something we never want to see happen to the game. Change is good unless the game is perfect. The game is not perfect, so it will change as we develop it more.
