Fix the #### connection failure!!

The loss of connection is often 5-10 min between occurances and is rarely over 30 min.

If it is not fixed I will be forced to kill both my accounts to keep my blood presure down.

This game is no longer fun to play. It is simply frustrating.

I like long missions.

- Now I only do in-town infrantry defense. I have a chance to get engaged before loss of connection.

- Waste of time to try to set attack, FB or defensive FRU. Odds are you will never make it.

- Spawning PAKs or armor is now equivalent to griefing. They are just lost from the spawn list.

Oh no, someones mad. OK CRS, now you better wake up and fix this, because someone posted about it in the barracks. Time to get serious on the fix because I am SURE you weren't concerned about it before this thread.

I'll sick my honey badger on you...

Actually *****ing helped :-)

I *****ed because the CRS post in main page appeared to be about a different problem.

Prior to the post I was had following period before loss of connection: 9 min, 3 min, 7 min. 15 min.

Then I posted and had 83 min (40 min I was afk and in brigade level screen), 43 min and 35 min.

The message I get is:

System: Connection to host reestablished.

Lost connection to cell host (126)

Not connected

I then eventually end up back in the brigade screen but cannot spawn = restart.

Running Dell 9100 and Windows 7.

Last night I seemed to get it changing brigades after a lenghty fight. Had fewer CTD's, the ones that dont give a number they just send ya right to the desk top. Got most of my kick-outs again while changing brigades.

I thought I might be me hiting a wierd combination of keys.

So, I spawned and lay on the spawn floor and waited. Always crashed within minutes.

I tried leaving spawn and finding spot to hide and lay still. Always crashed in munutes.

On December 6, between 1119 (US eastern) and 1505 I did 17 missions with an average of 2.76 minutes from spawn to crash. A couple I never cleared the spawn when I intended to immediatly leave = under a minute.

One was straight to desktop.

One was total sysytem crash.

15 were "Lost connection to cell host (126)" events.

This crash phenom made some of the old hands leave again. As one said to me, "unplayable."

1.34 will fix everything including simul-killing infantry fights. Just hang in there and quit being so pessimistic.

lol...."soon" "buy more ram in the mean time" and "we really appreciate you all more than you will ever know, paying for this"

Good report Geezer. I've sent that to the coders. I know there are 126 errors but I haven't seen anything quite like that frequency being reported.

Oliver put up a new host yesterday that was to give insight into the remaining chat crash and fixed some mmhost crashing issues. Don't know if it addressed these issues.

The host is definitely not crashing that often so something is causing a disconnect. I'll try and get some more information to see if we can track this down.

After 22 crashes Tuesday I gave up. Average mission of 2.7 minutes. I know some think it is funny when one pushes PAK 38 for 10-15 minutes and then loses conection. I stopped seeing the humor.

I was told the allies did not have much of a problem. This evening I have been on as allied (geztk) for 80 minutes and no problems. Even stutter is less! Axis side appears not playable at this time.

YOU need to figure out why allied play is less affected than axis - must be code issue somewhere.

You still have three accounts in jeapordy. My two and a son's.

I played Allied and lost 4 Sherman 76's to Cellhost lost, plus about 10 other items lost after lots of minutes placing FRU's and driving trucks.

MESSAGE: "you have sent an invalid/????? packet. Please check your firewall ??????." (??? = something else was there I cant remember)

TEMP SOLUTION: I totally shut down, powered off computer, modem and router for 2 minutes. Powered up and spawned in. STILL had some warping, but the connection held. Correlation without causation, or just a bad memory package sending back that cleared by full reboot?? don't know.

This morning Logged in pulled out an ATG from the depot and it crashed to desktop without any notice, or window pop up.

Logged back in, grabbed a tank to take the last depot, and it had a cell host error. ALL within 10 minutes.

Very little numbers on this morning @ 7am est.

System specs

24inch samsung lcd, 1900 res.

Videocard 560ti gigabyte (which fixed the Shogun2 issue)

memory 1600 ddr3 16 gb gskill sniper

HDD, seagate 64m 1tb

board asus p8z68 deluxe

cpu intel i7 2600k

runs very fast and i have no issues with FPS in game. I also run most times when people are starting to crash out. Then the cell host message comes up which leads me to believe others are running unstable then enough problems makes the server cellhost and reboot. (server software or the server)

I thought that would help, it doesnt appear to be a problem on ourside but a problem with the coding or hardware. New systems or old have the problem, its not just one generation. This one i built only a month ago in my shop. Id build another to test but i doubt its anything to do with our side of things.

I getting CTD at a rate of about 1 in 4 spawns and its getting fustrating now; cell host lost when you have just spawned a tiger isnt terribly amusing either.

Yeah me neither c0. Go figure. It's never me. Or I should say whenever it IS me it gets fixed before we ship!

Tomorrow I'll have a test exe with a bunch of 126 connection fixes for you guys to try over the weekend. Look for the sticky.

In the meantime download and run this bat file and check the output. It'll help pinpoint any connection issues between you and us.
