Is this new' date=' you can walk up to window from outside CP stick gun in and timer starts.[/quote']

One, how are you testing this. Two, your probably offset due to a bug and probably need to restart your game.

I'm thinking this is related to the stair bug (Going to make it my goal in life to try and replicate that bug) If his world becomes offset he might see EI sticking a rifle barrel through a wall when in reality the EI is standing inside capping as normal.

i'll have to check the missions i was on that day i was at a spawnable cp with a round concrette pillbox near it .... seems like it was a south cp .... and yea was a buuggy day with falling thru floors and clipping cp stairs.... but i was in cp gaurding it with sound on max too hear footsteps, heard them outside cp but then none on wood floor and timer starts counting down in cp. i do the silent snake crawl down steps and check front closet... then sprint to back to cut him off in back closet and nothing in back closet but do see ei with rifle thru window we have kill each other shoot out ... i respawn..... so i stick my rifle thru cp window from outside and reset cp ........ (EDIT) found it ...... sedan / bouillon cp

I was upstairs in a cp earlier and a friendly was standing with half of his gun sticking through the wall shooting. I asked him if he thought his gun was completely inside the wall and he said yes - can't remember who it was, but I've seen quite a few instances of this with walls in cps and the wooden bit that goes round the top of the stairs - a player lies with his gun behind the wooden bit but to everyone else a foot or more of it is sticking out of the other side of the wood.

Doesn't matter really doc. On his front end is what matters and he should be seeing his bullets hit the wall. Unless he saw himself clipped into the wall. The fire point for FPS weapons is way back inside the inf collider.

This may be part of the same problem - I was shot behind the wood at the top of the stairs through the wood - I didn't see the gun but the ei appeared a couple of seconds after I was shot - there was no place outside the cp I could have been shot from and I was shot from in front - the guy appeared 2 seconds later from round the top of the stairs. Totally unusual. I'll have to try it myself :)

On another slant, if my leg sticks outside of a cp can it be shot (fatally)?

Insipte of the problems I'm thoroughly enjoying my return to the army life!

Cheers

Doc

A screen from last month that could be related:

This guy was behind the Bunker, could not cap it, but was able to shoot inside, sadly i could not take a screen in that exact moment, but i saw a guy dieing in front of him, and i got injured when i went to check the entrance half minute afterwards, there was nothing in front of the bunker just this guy with its gun sticking inside, he got killed shortly afterwards by someone.

I wouldn't bet that guy could shoot inside. His fire point is still on the other side of the wall. Tough to say for certain without seeing his FPS view but you can test this stuff by using external cam and walking up to walls. In thoird person you see them shoot but that's just an effect. In first person their bullet hits the wall.
