Was aware of the DD, didn't realize this affected tanks as well in the past.

hull machine guns should I think probably not have range settings, I don't think any others do, you set range by elevating the barrel as you shoot

co-ax is different because it is laid in with the main gun

I think the 38T is the only hull gunned tank that has elevation adjustable sight on the hull mg.

It falls in the same "boat" as the DDs gunners where changeing the gunsite elevation (pageup/down) changes the sight setting for all guns on the vehicle.

yeah ok, was the first tank built and probably has retained a "feature" subsequently not included (on purpose) in any other tank; simply by virtue of no one ever reporting it as different (to those that would have to make the call on it at least) ... amazing after 11 years that this can turn up, wow ... take nothing for granted ever !

it should not have a range setting like your main gun, we obviously missed that when this one was first built, and was the first tank we ever built

will have to ticket this to be changed, but it's going to be a pretty low priority with everything else we have on our plate right now :/

yeah I have wanted to get that ganged rangefinder deal on the boats changed since forever man, it keeps slipping down the list. We just have way too much to do all the bloody time
