Axis SMG sights off center

It's a minor thing I know, but the SMG sights look like they are off center. It does not matter if I am standing crouching or prone.

can you post a firing test to see the POA/POI difference? is the shot actually impacting where the front sight post is or where it 'should' be impacting?

The point of aim does not seem to matter to much because the smg rounds tend to disperse. They seem to go left and right. What I noticed is that all the smg's tend to shoot low. The first round or two impact low. With full auto you get a shotgun pattern, that is expected. I was surprised that all the smg's shot low. It seems that the first round would impact at point of aim. Then the following rounds would get scattered. Maybe this is intentional, because of muzzle climb during full auto fire. Anyway the video is shot with a hand held digital camera. I shot at the infantry spawn building rivets because the were a easy point of aim and the impact holes contrasted well with the background. All the shots were at point blank range. Axis, American, French and British smg's in that order. Position was standing. There is no sound on the video.

The guns don't shoot low but they do have muzzle rise. We can bench shoot them with no animation effects (like a gun vise).

So what I'm thinking is a low point of impact is actually a animation effect. An effect to simulate muzzle climb. Thanks for the reply.

I think any gun would appear to shoot low if your target is at the end of the barrel such as in this video.
