#6242 - CSR not recording INF kills

My kills are not working; this really sucks. Five kills and NOTHING in stats showing that I got kills.

No stats why play, terrible.

Ya, well I logged out. What else to play for, now can't even see my kills anymore? Curious, do deaths still count against you, guess I could just run around now with no fear of death as won't count on stats?

Yes, unfortunately, kills count against us. You can sit out, let me die, lower my K/D for you.

60 inf kills today.....nothing for me.

Same here, 11 kills over several missions in Stenay, not listed on CS&R, died 6 times, that showed, but had no killer listed. Aggrevating, at best.

Yes, still mac login issues, takes me about 10 tries (recently) to get on. Others I think still can't even log on. I'm lucky in that at least I connect eventually. Yep, watched TV tonight; heading to bed now. Maybe it is just some server thing that will get reset?

Wow, you guys are good players. I had one death and one kill that did not register properly on CS&R. Database functions should not be screwing up after 10 years in existence, that's 10 long years to debug them and make them robust.

Database errors are not acceptable, as they are a basic function throughout the game. It seems to indicate lack of foresight somewhere along the line, at least to me. That is my opinion, your mileage may vary. I am going to practice off-line or on the training server for the rest of the weekend, or play Red Orchestra.

Edit: I can put up with a lot of graphical bugs, lag, wtf deaths, CTDs, etc.etc. but when a basic low level system starts screwing up, I start wondering if there is a better place for my money. This is the kind of bug that frustrates me enough to consider unsubbing, and I am pretty much a fan-boy.

Earlier yesterday, they were having trouble with a mission spawn error-and lost connection to cell-host. I say this more for THEM, than you Delems.

We would be playing the game-an error would show saying, 'connection to cell host re-established.' We weren't disconnected, having to respawn-we simply kept playing.

Hopefully, they check and fix this.

No, kills don't always count against you.

For once, this is a bug that seems to be swinging my way for a change...though I have lost kills for it...it seems to be about equal to how often I have died.

Needs to be fixed pronto though.

Based on a sample size of 4 missions and 1 person (me) it appears that inf kills are not being recorded.

For example, had a 8 kill grenadier mission....3 ei and 5 guns. The CS&R recorded only the 5 gun kills.

Another mission I had a sniper....5 kills and I died. Of my 5 kills...only one recorded which was a bofor. The other 4 were EI. Coincidence? Also, I was killed by an ei. No death recorded HOWEVER CS&R says crit=yes but no killer. So, CS&R is seeing the kill somehow...just no killer.

So Rats....look at being killed while you are an inf as this is where the bug seems to be.

yes, I think something very weird is going on. I've had a pretty good number of conventional shoot em up kills on infantry (12-15) go missing, but kills did show up for a) a laffy that had the misfortune to spawn into a vehicle tent as I sapped it and a sherman that I sapped.Why these appeared when nothing else did is beyond me, but it's damn sure annoying.

Yes, I had at least 14 ei kills at Boillion...none recorded.

Um, my K/D suffers despite numerous kills on the axis infantry.

Over 50 kills the other day-only my deaths counted against me. K/D dropped at least .20 and more.

Agreed-needs to be fixed.

Confirm. Since battle in Namur I m not getting ei kills. And I lost an ET kill confirmed in "results"

Short version:

Kill ei - no killer recorded.

Killed by ei - no killer registered against you. CS&R does give you crit=yes but no killer recorded and does not count in the units tab.

I think I need clarification

I killed several EI just now as a rifleman and as an LMG

in my AAR screen, all my kills were recorded (AAR is the left side sortie screen)

in my sortie stats, all my kills were also recorded and what type of infantry was also recorded

stats and summary appeared to be correct (sortie stats and summary is the right side sortie screen)

when I died, my killer was not listed (that is a bug)

Can you clarify what part of kill recording isn't working for you ?

I killed the 2 fairmiles and a Pz4. I could identified the Pz4 because he kill a squadmate. Ingame I saw the kill. Never see it in stats.

Later I killed 3 LMG in Namur Docks.

Later sure an EI in this sortie:

so you're talking about CS&R kill recording (a database issue) not the client failing to record kills (as seen in your in game AAR screen) ... is this correct ?

I checked and for yesterday (8th) CS&R shows no kills for me. Everyone knows this can't be true because of my good looks.

Kills showed up in game yesterday it's just CS&R that is missing them. At least for yesterday and probably the 7th. Haven't played much so that's all I can see.

I'm still good looking so it doesn't really matter.
