Trees blocking rifle fire 5 feet to the side

SEDAN today N forest playin allied as Inf.

Rifle shots were hitting trees i was hiding beside. Moved a foot tothe left, shot, still hit tree, moved another foot on belly, tree notvisible, but bullets hits a invisble tree directly infront of me.

Then Ei i was trying to shoot shoots me, where i was hitting a tree.

Some trees collisions are larger than the tree model there was a topic about that a couple months ago.

Nope :( I posted alot of pictures about those trees with bad colisions on that topic.

Hope they get this fix is one of those bugs that ruins gameplay makes you die and curse this game.

Yes samshed my keyobard today after EI i couldn't hit because of invisible tree, shot me through the same damn tree.

That doesn't appear to be 5 feet to me. That is the speed tree cylinder collider. Nothing going to change there.

Can't the speed tree cylinder collider be improved or improve the tree models to better reflect the colisions?

"SpeedTree" is a third party dynamic-collidable-vegetation-models software package that's key to the current terrain look-and-feel.

Not without a new collider for WWIIOL. Which we need but will take months of development due to the custom nature of our vis range conditions. Bottom line, colliders have to be simple if you want to play on a PC because we have So many things to collide with (view distance).
