Return to WWIIOL get the Xmas update, weeks and weeks of not playing but still paying...

Finally it is fixed and the Xmas patch was playable, still takes a looong time to connect however.

The game ran smooth and was playable for about two weeks.

After .8 patch it is a non-stop stutter fest irrespective of local pop.

This is immensely disappointing after tolerating the weeks of "no connect issue".

I can log in but it is futile to try and play............

The reasonable tenor of this note does note indicate the level of displeasure....

Cheers Montyuno

Strange, only played the mac .8 for a short while so far, but the patch worked fine and game play seemed ok. Checked the right click and it is working to. I'll keep an eye on FPS and stutter, but haven't noticed anything yet.

Ok, did notice very brief (i.e. only 1 now and then) stutter. Otherwise my FPS seems about the same. Will have to keep an eye on the stutter.

Also checked the ATR and Grenadier, both can place FRUs now.

Very bad stutter for me when in towns (Brussels) and moving in a tank, along the lines of every few seconds a freeze of a second or so.

Can you guys give me some more to go on? I've been on the live server for a couple weeks with 1.34.8 and haven't noticed anything in particular. There isn't actually any significant (or any at all really) code changes in this release. Just PIATs added.

There could be something unexpected of course and I'd like to keep an eye out for it.
