Infantry sticking to ground..... Can't get up from Prone Position.

Ever since the patch I have been "sticking" to the ground, especially when sprinting from the prone position. Sometimes I can't stand up at all in open terrain!

It takes 10-seconds of crawling around to be able to get back up!!

Anyone else having this problem???

If I "sprint" and then drop prone, I'm stuck on the ground, only able to crawl.

I'm assuming this is related to the "fix" for the sliding corpses?

Why can't you code the collider to handle corpses differently than "live" infantry??????

I'm also thinking the same coding made throwing grenades through windows infinitely more difficult, as they "stick" to the windowsills now!

It usually happens when you spam a certain key too much, like 5 times or so, i remember some posts where it was stated it was sort of intentional to prevent perpetuos dolphine diving or something like that

Its a already reported bug. To be able to sprint again (considering u have stamina) we could hold modifies (shift) and hit movment (w). Now we must first start moving then add sprint modifier.

I've suffered this since I started playing. Pre-patch...a great annoyance really, to be running quickly and needing to drop down and get up to move again, only to not be able to move, thus, getting shot or leaving me very exposed and vulnerable. I've checked the batteries in my mouse and keyboard to see if maybe there was a weak signal, etc. No such luck.

Please remember to post bugs in the bug forum. That is the best place for bugs sot he Rats can sort through it better.

yes it's annoying and we'll fix it ... in the meantime you can get around it by pressing the movement key (eg: "w") FIRST and then add the sprint modifier (shift)
