When I switched from binoc's back to weapon I only had knife and shovel ..... couldn't get pistol or bazooka at all ........ and I tried pushing every key to rememedy this, also from standing, prone and laying down nothing..... all I could do was mark pz's and opels ... think I used 4 shells on a pz and couple clips on atg so should still have a loaded weapon

what happened to my pistol

well either you really used it up without knowing, or the game hates you. Ever so often (like twice a year) i've had weapons that don't shoot, or show up.....its part of the charm.

This is another bug (read feature).

You have to re-select the binos again and then exit out of them (right click) to de-freeze the weapon selector.

Only 2nd time I tried this weapon .... other was in beta-test, but I know I had ammo for pistol because only used 1 clip per man on atg I killed.

I would think a couple more clips for pistol could be carried seeing all the stuff my engineer carries. Otherwise I see why Bazzooka always out of supply, you can't rtb for ammo with just a knife.

Hi Gophur, Happens quite a bit when you have used binos. Once you exit out the first time the weapon select is frozen both on mouse wheel and also keys, from memory it defaults to one weapon and that's it, pretty sure if that default weapon. is the atr or lmg you cannot setup. Also you are unable to run, just walk. To get out of this you have to click to go back into binos and exit again. Hope that helps.

I don't understand why the RPAT disappears when you are out of rockets?

It should be kept in your inventory every weapon should be kept even without ammo. Why?

1- Improve gameplay you can pretend you have ammo on your rocket to maybe scare a tank or make them think twice before advancing.

(There were a lot of this cases in WW2 and in a lot of battles)

2- Avoid bugs like this one.

3- Easier to take better pictures and movies.

There's a similar bug when i lower any weapon as infantry and then select binoc. If i then try to go back to another weapon, there's nothing i can select except if i hit the shoot button which bring me back to binoc and then weapons get back to normal.

And by thew way what's the use of lowering rifle now? I'm pretty sure it used to work in third person view but doesn't any more

Lol..yeah...that one as well...its an arse if you are approaching an FB and that little gem pops up and by error you click to clear on the rifle by mistake.

Is this what you're talking about?

Spawn Infantry ( say British Rifleman ):

  1. Hit "L" to lower weapon.
  2. Press right mouse button and weapon comes up to aim.
  3. Hit "0" (zero) key to bring up binoculars. Display shows binoculars equipped. ( Alternately, select any of the other weapons using the number keys. )
  4. Hit "1" to bring up rifle again. Display shows rifle equipped.
  5. Press right mouse button and weapon DOES NOT come up to aim.
  6. At this point the only way to get out of this lock is to click left mouse button which brings up binoculars ( or fires the weapon selected in step 3 ). Display changes to show binoculars ( or the step 3 weapon) equipped, and this also cancels the weapon lowered state.

I've had the same happen to me - took a bit to figure out what happened [thought my keyboard was acting up], but mucking about with the mouse [scrolling & clicking] seemed to get me out. Pretty sure it was only US infantry in which it happened with - haven't seen it with any other since.
