Doesn't seem to affect play but pops up occasionally when I start game.

Well, I got the screenshot in my clipboard but have no idea what command to use in this forum to paste it in.

Only other question I can answer for you is that it comes up as soon as my password is entered into the launcher and "server is ready for play shows up"

and this time i got msg that i was disconnected when i said ok to the message.

so now I will try again.... second try, no error and i am in game.

t:0 Error ip 66.28.224.240, port 27015, state 20001

u have to save the screenshot as an image, using paint or what ever program. then upload to a free image hosting site like image shack or photobucket. then post it here

I get the same thing from time to time.

made a thread on it a while back but it was not taken seriously and shrugged off.

I think it's an old error that crept back in. Searching the IP you can see kfs1 talking about this provider back in 08 I think.

Because it is (apparently) a windows not a game error, I wonder if the fact that you can't tracert to that - or any other CRS Internal - Address, "destination unreachable", is the cause?

(sudden's note is interesting ... is there a bit of hard-coded legacy code still lying around? ... can't remember when the provider was switched, but it was a while back now).

It's not that complicated to find the isp but I don't think it matters much. I'm guessing it will go away on it's own as the provider discovers the issue. Like I said, it doesn't seem to affect the game at all. Perhaps it is an error that is normally hidden, since it has no adverse affect, and for some reason after this patch it now shows up again.

This link from 06, and many others like it, have discussions on the provider.

BLOO already answered in another post.

Try re-loading full game again.

Check drivers for all hardware are up to date.

Run malwarebytes in case of virus effect.

....something else

Here's the post: http://forums.battlegroundeurope.com/showthread.php?t=387480

Uninstalling and reinstalling AGAIN is the solution? We just had to do this for a faulty patch! It's getting old.

Have already reinstalled game, drivers are good and game plays Fine!.

Just get the goofy message every now and then, when starting game.
