Curious OGG, but do you have a spare NVIDIA card lying around that you could put in your computer? I mean you shouldn't have to change cards for a game (if that is the problem), but you still might want to give it a try.

I was having CTD something fierce but I narrowed down the problem to how far I overclocked my Nvidia card. It also helped that late last week Nvidia came out with new drivers.

Anyway, I would try switching from ATI to Nvidia and see what happens.

Regards....

I had CTD's up the arse before I switched to nvidia on both computers. Been solid since. Good advice, at least to give it a shot.

BAER, no don't have one lying around.

BB, that's where my investigations are all leading.

GOPHUR, OK will wait to see what you and MARTINI can get figured out.

Like I said to BLOO 25 of 27 of my checked problem people run ATI cards. Those with NVIDIA cards are crashing by over-over clocking the cores. taking clock speeds back to stock cores the problems aren't there anymore. The 25 with ATI cards have multiple crashes a night, and we are all running latest driver packages. those running older ATI drivers are still having problems though not as frequently.

Just food for thought.
