Cool down timer from old missions

I would put a FRU up on one mission, then make a new mission to put up another FRU. However, on the second mission it would tell me I had to wait for cool down timer before I can set my FRU on a newly made mission.

This has happened to me a lot and does not seem to go away over change of brigs. either. I have put in .reports on it.

I would think this is ok as long mission was made for same target :D

It does it across map. Besides I believe we shouldn't have to wait if we make new mission no matter what the target.

I've tested this from another post and was unable to replicate.

Test1

  • spawn INF ML
  • place MSP
  • despawn
  • exit mission
  • create new mission
  • spawn INF ML
  • place MSP
  • build tool was green immediately
  • other player on mission 1 still sees correct cool down for that mission

My guess is that there is something missing from the report but not sure what. Maybe the MSP was killed?

As I firmly believe that every INF mission should always have an MSP I'm hoping to replace this with Daisey chains when we get the dev time.

It don't always happen and I am not sure what causes it. I do know that the first FRU I put up did not go down. It has only happened to me three times that I can remember.
