very low fraps

20 fraps in tienen. I have a quad core @3.6ghz with 4gigs of ram and a 5850 gfx card. My settings are on lowest for game and card. It was a big battle I guess but I can't play at 20 fraps. I had to log out and play Eve which I can play on high settings for card and game, at least I don't lag or crash no matter how many are around me. This is why I have such a hard time subbing to this game. It does not run very smooth. I am on an extended bonus account so take this for what its worth but this is a big reason why I don't see myself subbing. It's a good game so do not get me wrong it's just that I can see a lot of frustration if I was paying for it.

no i thing this is the place to post it, but do you mean fraps=frames?

Fraps is a tool to record footage from games.

That seems odd. Granted the game engine is aging and it certainly has performance issues but I'm running a 5850 as well and I rarely see frames that low.

Are you running AA or something on the card itself?
