missing kills/pts

Greetings...

in the previous days sometime I had sensation to kill someone, but not sure 100% that was my fire to get him down.

Yesterday during my last sortie (and with a bit more experience), I had 2 EI killed at point blank, one (the first, we were alone in a house... and he died; the last we killed each other as SMG at point blank).

During the same sortie, I shooted at 40 mt. approx to an EI and then I see him dead: in this case (he was in the open) he could be hitten by other "kamerade"...

But still, logged of to find 0 kills...

Could this be a little bug sometime happening?

Thanks in advance for any reply.

PS: you can understand that having a weird K/D ratio, in this my first campaign, every kill has a "special taste" for me.

S!

Also keep in mind that there is a chance that someone else shot the EI and received the initial kill credit, even though it wasn't a fatal shot. This happens all of the time. You will be shot, not actually die (only wounded), and will be able to play-but the EI gets the kill credit on you.

This happened to me last night in Florenville.

There was an LMG on the East side of town who was being tracked by another Allied solider. I came in support from an building across. The Allied player went in, shot at the LMG, made contact with his bullet, but the LMG shot him down.

The Allied infantry player received a kill credit, but the LMG was still "alive."

We played some cat and mouse for a couple of minutes and I dropped him.

I despawned and it showed no kill credit. Why? The other Allied player wounded the LMG and received the kill credit.

It's possible those two EI were already 'killed" (only wounded) by someone else.

Dear Sir, thanks a lot...

not so good to know: I think you can understand... I'd like to recover from my truly catastrophic K/D got upon start playing.

That's said... still a bit strange: 2-3 kill... all previously wounded? oh well... I'll do better.

Final note... I'd dare suspecting I was the LMG... you killed me sometimes... and I was in Florenville...

Nice to meet you

S!

If you are new, ignore your Kill/Death and focus on earning points. There are a lot of people here who have been playing for a long time and there is a learning curve, so don't expect too much.

Best way to earn points is to guard a building that says it is capturable. You will get one point per minute for just being there, plus any kills that you manage, plus 20 points per recap even if somebody else killed the capper. Not unusual to get 100 points in 30 minutes under the right circumstances. Of the 30,000 points that it took me to get from captain to lt. colonel, I reckon 20,000 were earned doing exactly that.

As you rank up and have access to more powerful weapons, you'll tend to get more kills. But can still be killed by some greenhorn on his first day which is what makes this game interesting. Good luck.

Thanks for your reply... and noticed.

My first points were the most important for me: SMG in place rifle with which I have not a great feeling.

Indeed I observed: with rifleman 0.14, with SMG 0.44 and with LMG almost 1 K/D.

I know that this is the simpler way to get pts, but I preferred to risk a bit more, getting less, to get more field experience and indeed it worked: now I usually SEE the enemy :D and not seeing anything was and is the first problem.

It sounds like a bugged sortie. I do not see reports of this often. Are you having missing kills often?
