High rank in mission list?

When I was on a mission with a 5 star general his rank showed Lt Col in my mission list, but in the rider box his rank showed 5 stars. Is that normal, do high ranks all just show as Lt Col in the mission listing? Was Navy HC and me (on mac).

Depends, what type of mission was it? If it was a Heer mission then his star's won't show up in the mission list, but if I had to make a wild guess, how CRS got any rank above 4 stars to work will make them appear perma.

Pretty sure we were both Navy at the time. I will try to get in missions with some other HC to see what happens. But, I think they always show as Lt Col in my mission list.
