Again tonight, Flavion bunker was capped, 2 FBs went axis as predicted, the third, to Dinant went allied? Am I missing something about how FBs work?

When a bunker is capped, what should the FBs to all towns that it links to do, based on ownership of those linked towns?

Are there differences if flags are in those towns? Are there differences if CPs in AOd town are taken or not? Does it remember FB state when the town was first taken by the new owner (and thus revert to that state)? Is there some other condition that affects how the FB will come up after a bunker is capped?

In beta:

Set Up

  • Set AO on Longwy

  • Long-Long FB = FR

  • Long-Pien FB = DE

  • Long-Esch FB = DE

  • Long-Lux FB = none

  • Long-Arlon FB = none

  • Long -Virt FB = none

Capture

  • FR captures Long-Long Depot

  • Longwy contested

  • no FB changes

  • FR contrinues to cap depots

  • no FB changes

  • FR caps Longwy AB

  • no control change (multiple ABs)

  • no FB changes

  • FR captures rest of ABs

  • control changes to FR

  • DE brigades bounced

  • All incoming DE to DE FB's open (defensive FB's)

  • Long-Long FB stays FR

  • All Allied FB's stay same

  • Expected functionality

  • FR captures all facilities and takes ownership

  • Virton, Arlon, Lux and Esch incoming DE FBs remain the same

  • Longyon incoming FR FB stays the same

  • Since Piennes and Longwy are now both French and unoccupied, no FBs on link.

  • Expected functionality

I'm not able to replicate what you are describing but that of course doesn't mean it doesn't happen, just means I'm not able to diagnose the issue with the information provided.

Thanks for the test, haven't noticed this lately. I know what is supposed to happen, it's just it really didn't for 3 nights in a row.

I'd say let this go for now, last night at Jodo it worked as expected.
