NetCode2 Connection Failed please check your firewall and revert to standard network

I've been getting this weird message that tells me I have a connection failure and I've been lagging out to death from it almost every time. Basically letting enemy see me while I can't see them. In all the years I've played this game I have never once received this message error. Any help would be appreciated.

We all know this game has many issues and no one wants to see this game succeed more than I do, but some serious modification needs to be done or a complete over haul. I really don't want to steer this thread into anything more than the "NetCode2 Connection Failed please check your firewall and revert to standard network use" error.

Some other day I will make a thread giving my opinions of everything bad I have seen this game go through, throughout the years.

It's normal message; I get it from time to time; was occurring a lot a while ago, but I haven't seen it lately. Not sure cause, busy traffic at your or their end maybe.

I wait 15 sec or so, spawn out and back in and usually things are fine.

Nope this issues is HUGE my friend I haven't been able to play for over a week straight. Right now I'm playing and getting killed everytime by invisible EI the second this error pops up. Logged in and out, restarted PC no avail.

It is not a easy fix and has nothing to do with anything on my end. Played this game since 2002...

Try a different internet provider if you can? Be sure you are not wireless. Not sure what else to do.

I've had more of these errors in the last two days, than in the last two months. What's up?

These have been terrible this last week, getting them constantly. What is up with the netcode2 failures?

I get this message ALOT and its annoying as hell. Gophur, there isn't a setting anywhere that I can find to disable this. Can you help me find it?

Also, someone mentioned it might be caused by my router ports not being opened. I'm looking into that now, as soon as i find the port numbers.

Not sure wbut we're no longer using netcode2 as of 1.35.

Go to the windows firewall and add all executable files in the BE folder to the windows firewall exception.

Playgate, WW2ol ...

If you have it already set them do it again.

Unfortunately most games prompt the windows to ask for a windows firewall exception, BE doesn't do this.

I was getting a lot of what you said but after doing this it became very rare to see.

I am getting this warning in my text buffer a lot lately. If we are no longer using Netcode2, I do not understand why I am getting the warning, or what else to do about it. Has anyone else resolved this issue?
