I just bought a new comp with amd readon 7770 graphics card. It seems on the forum that other peoPle have had problems with the foliage onthe ground being black and the the trees looking like blocks. Is this something that is going to get resolved soon

I don't think it's your hardware or drivers [yet] - a LOT of folks have been reporting onscreen issues with the server today [sat Jun 30th]. I just made a report of the issues I've run into sofar - black screen issues aren't one of them thankfully, but invisible FRU's & squad mates [spawing from invisible FRUs] are .. as well as inoperable grenades ..

Of course we've all just been dumped from the server .. 'way to go CRS' .. w00t!

Yep, apparently server down atm. I've been getting "can't despawn" errors for the last 2 months. Today, my audio was sounding weird and the game menu's were locking up.

Just weird stuff happening today. I'm getting sick of it. I've been on/off for 9 years and it's been pretty bad as of late.

Are you using Catalyst 12.3?

That made my problems go away.

Not to computer savy. How would I check what I have and download it if I do t? Thanks

Open the Catalyst control Center.

Bottom option in the list should be 'Information'.

Then click 'Software'. Look for the version number.

Some versions of the drivers are broken for games running Speedtree in openGL. [Which is why CRS can't 'fix' it... they don't make the drivers]

12.4 is broken. 12.3 is not. Not sure about others. Someone else might be able to help.

Go to here and fill out the missing parts. When its finished downloading, remove your old drivers [assuming your system has the proper ones and isn't just using generic Microsoft ones]

Then install the new driver set.
