Ok,

  1. we have side lock for time delay to game
  2. then we have spawn delay to game arena
  3. then you get the 'DID YOU KNOW' screen, which has taken as much as 1.5 minutes in that screen to get to the game arena.

Is number 3 planned or is it something else?

I have seen it on non overpop times to take, what seems like forever to be able to play.

Try the search function, this is a very well known issue which everyone is experiencing.

BTW, with the new beta availabe, the rats are likely only bothered about reports from that as any issue in the current game may be different in the next version.
