Why is the flak 30 unstable, can someone explain it in comparison with CA mle ?

  • Similar rate of fire.
  • CA mle 1938 double weight ammo
  • CA mle 1938 doble deployed weight
  • Same terrain

You maybe answered it your self

CA Mile is double they deployed weight

More weight means more force required to move that weight so less unstable

Or could just be a better base mount

Could be a number if reasons, but generally larger the base the more it can absorb the recoil forces and provide more stability

Thats just my understanding of using modern day gun pieces, but would think the principles stay the same

:)

Flak 30

1/2*120*(900*900)/1000*120=583'200 J/min

450kg + 80 body mass=530kg

CA mle

1/2*250*(900*900)/1000*125=1'265'625 J/min

850kg+ 80 body mass=930kg

1/2*g*(v*v)/1000*RPM=J/min

My answer is so simple.
