multicrew "bug"

I know aircraft that multicrew lag horribly and I've heard the crew currently gets no rank points for his/her trouble. Everyone calls it the multicrew "bug." My curiosity piqued, has an actual "bug" been identified? How long has it been a problem? Is a fix in the works?

I didn't realize they didn't get any rank points either. Poor recruits will never rank up.

They don't know how to fix it or it would have been done

I thought someone mentioned it was fixed in beta. I could be wrong. You have to remember they have to patch the game to give you a fix and we havent had a patch for quite some time.
