Never been able to find the culprit. I've tried testing this a bunch and it always seems to work for me. I think it has something to do with the globalcalib file. Can you see if you have one of those?

Change keys in individual units like Airplanes instant CTD when you click on save (at least for me).

yep after 1 hr sail in dd i made the mistake of trying to change secondary weapon in key map.... total waste of time when ctd. My gaming experience with ww2 online could definitely have been better.

Yes I can recreate this online with Windows 7 and I have a globalcalib file.

The supposed trick is when you change a particular vehicle, after changing don't save but go to the vehicle list and then save.

For EX. Change something on the Panzer IV, but don't save.

Click on German tanks and then save and no CTD.
