Crashing to Desktop

I start playing the game recently again and i get a few game grashes. My PC is a new one I5 3.4 Ivy bridge, 8 gig ram and 7770 Ati.

I got the latest drivers in everything.

I always crash when I am about to enter the game. I select the unit and then it shows me the yellow screen and boom drops me to desktop. Noticed it happens more often when I change a brigade the first time i try to join the map it crashes me. It does not happent all the time for 4-5 hours paly time 2-3 times.

Any ideas?

This is a known issue that CRS is aware of a hoping to be able to fix soon.

There's not alot you can do to stop it, there is a 3rd party 'patch' that some people have had success using(search 4gig patch) but i think that is mostly for people on 32bit systems to enable access to more RAM.

If you are playing for a long time, you could just restart the game when you are switching to different areas of the map alot to save the longer loading time followed by a CTD.

yeea mine is 64 bit one. Thanks anyway its not that bad just annoing when I get the last 3h or snipers and then it happens

Its ok I tried it yesterday the patching thingy and no CTDs. So seems like it worked

the 4G patch is built into the game's installer these days
