Keep losing connection to host, just started on Feb. 26, 2013

Starting on Feb. 26, 2013 I started constantly losing connection to the host and then seeing the note in the text buffer: "SYSTEM: Connection to host re-established"

Prior to Feb. 26 I had not had any connecting issues, in fact the game connection has been about the best I have ever experienced.

I am on a Win7 Pro system and Comcast is my ISP.

Has anyone else just started having connection issues? Any suggestions on what I should check?

I have the same problem I think it is because of my ISP since it is pretty ****ty I will replace it soon.. It's cable so when there are many people using the ISP and I have low priority my packet loss outside my country goes to from 10% to 70% and I can get speeds down to 1Kbps and even searching google I need multiple attempts. ( I had DSL and I had no problems)

If it isn't from my ISP then it's from the game.

Thanks for checking on this. Wednesday night Feb. 27 there was a reset done on the game server, roughly 10pm EST, sorry I did not note the exact time. I tried the game after that reset and still had the same problem.

I logged in early afternoon on Thursday Feb. 28 and the game worked perfect, from early afternoon until around 9pm or so. No problems at all, everything went great.

Today, Friday March 1, around noon or so,played for a while and all was great. Then at some point, not sure exactly time wise, I started constantly getting the "SYSTEM: Connection to host re-established" message in the text buffer again.

Once this happens, my ping shows as 1/1. While I am in game all seems to work as normal, but the status of depots and such does not update. For example Roermond was showing as having cps capped, but on my map it did not show any that had changed hands.

I logged out, restarted computer, restarted game, but am constantly getting the connect issues. I notice the connection problem start as a jump of the video on screen, then a freeze, very brief, then I get that warning in the chat buffer.

I have tried on another computer and have the same problem. I have tried from another location with my laptop and have the same problem.

Any other info I can provide to help solve this just let me know and I will do my best to assist.

Dracer are you using a wireless connection?

When you said you used your laptop in another location, did you go to a diff. part of your house or another address?

Any of the PCs your using connected by hardwire?

My main computer is hard wired to the router. I tried my laptop and that was using a wireless connection to the same router.

I took the router to a friends house and had the same problems. That was a wireless connection to his router. He is on Comcast also though so I did not get onto a different ISP.

Improved perhaps, as it seems less often.

Today, March 2nd, connection has been great, not a single problem.

Have been getting this lately, think it might be connected to the longer inter-maintenance times?

I've gotten "timeout waiting for connection" discos 3 times over the past 3 days, always when I've been idle for a bit after actively playing for an hour or more. Never happened before and everything else seems normal. Annoying.

We've switched to Monday and Friday server maintenance. We'll be doing this for the next few weeks to test it out.

Keep track of the days you are seeing an issue and we'll see if we can tie it to this or if it is something else.
